Sonya Outling
Sonya Outling came to the Town of Rutherfordton as the Finance Director in December of 2018. As the Finance Director, Sonya is responsible for the oversight of budgeting, annual audits and daily financial transactions.
A graduate of The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Sonya earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in 2003 while also playing softball for the UNCP Braves.
Sonya is a proud native to Rutherford County and a 1999 graduate of Chase High School.
