Construction Manager At Risk - Rutherfordton Municipal Complex
The Town of Rutherfordton is accepting proposals for Construction Manager at Risk, in accordance with N.C.G.S § 143-64.31 and § 143-28(b) for the construction & renovation of the Rutherfordton Municipal Complex Renovation Project This project consists the renovation and additions to a 26,056 square foot, two-story building for the Town’s Police Department, Town Hall and provide opportunities for indoor recreation, a commercial kitchen, and a multitude of large community gathering spaces Site development covers approximately 5 acres. The estimated total construction cost is $8,000,000.00.
Any interested party will be required to respond to a request for qualifications. The deadline for submission of proposals is 3:00 P.M., Friday, December 6, 2024. Proposals should be mailed or delivered to:

A pre-submittal meeting will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 21st via Teams - email Doug at dbarrick@rutherfordton.net for a link to attend the pre-submittal meeting. It is strongly recommended that any firm interested in responding to this RFQ attend the Pre-Submittal Meeting.

Surplus Property
The Town uses the Internet auction site AuctionsInternational.com. This allows the Town the opportunity to dispose of surplus property on an ongoing basis. Items are posted on the sites, as they become available. All items are sold "as is, where is" and the Town reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Payment is made to the individual auction sites. A full disclosure of the terms of each sale is posted with each item being sold.
